Good product. Read helpful installation tips here!

First the product itself. I am a harsh critic when it comes to aftermarket products. I want the best for my return. Not cheap but what you pay for is what you get. It costs $$. I caught myself playing while driving, enjoying the difference and how much it helps. I live in Brooklyn and drive BQE every night. It's exhausting flipping the mirror around to see the traffic and then flipping it again to soften it. Installation. Okay, for me it was a process. I have a 2000 Honda CRV, so the stock mirror mount is in the roof, not the windshield. Assembly: I had to add a new metal bracket to the glass to hold the mirror. Buy 3 packs of metal fasteners first. DO NOT use plastic. Applying to glass is not easy. I ended up doing my own (workshop work) to save time waiting for assembly. As for glue, stay away from epoxy, sealant, 5 minute glue, blah blah blah! It all takes time to heal only to find out it might not work. You need UV glue! Dries fast and stays strong! I work with New York museums and Calvin Klein fashion shows, so trust me. If it applies to them, it applies to you too! https://www.amazon.com/CRL-UV702-High-Viscosity-Adhesive/dp/B006JFKP3W. Shelf life 18 months after production. It's toxic, so wear a respirator. Don't forget the UV light source, Amazon has a bunch of flashlights, goggles will be needed again, or just don't look at it directly. Mark on the outside of your window where you want to attach the bracket. Wipe the inner window and mount with any solvent such as acetone, denatured alcohol, or rubbing alcohol. Apply a small amount of UV glue to the mount. Push it to the window. Glue it in place. Look outside and make sure the adhesive has covered the entire area between the window and the bracket. Place the light source outside and shine on the adhesive for at least 5 minutes, maximum 10 minutes. Once it hardens it won't go anywhere! Wiring: Okay it was a bit tricky, I was able to connect to my radio but getting it was a problem. The easiest for me was to control the setting of the window. It usually just pops out! Disconnect the wiring harness and lower it under the steering wheel. You will need a multimeter, wire strippers (20 gauge minimum), crimping and crimping tools. Don't use the splice connections they give you. It is uncertain and will fail sooner or later. You can purchase this kit at https://www.amazon.com/EL-SKY-Terminal-Connectors-Assorted-Electrical/dp/B01LA82M8S. This will take a while. Use red pliers. Check the wires until you find a 12V source. There should only be one. Attach, strip, crimp, reconnect. Did.
