DVR JWKG Aolbea 2.5K, KG390-2K-0624

Pros: - Looks like it lives up to its description given the price and 2.5k - Firstly, the price is 50 percent cheaper (sounds a bit too good to be true, but I'm very impressed with most of the recordings I've reviewed). I almost went back for a second device but the discount was removed during Prime Day - Samsung super heat resistant capacitors (much better than using heat sensitive lithium batteries), WDR, enhanced night vision (WDR & HDR), loop recording, G- Sensor- i I have the same HiSilicon Hi3556v200 processor with Sony IMX335 sensor in my WiMius 2.5K DVR and the pictures are excellent. This camera has the same processor and sensor - the camera and suction cup are small like an action camera, they are discreetly mounted on the windshield or rear window. Lacquering a shiny silver lens collar is being considered. There's no marking on the rear camera to identify the manufacturer (it's not used anyway, so see Other Thoughts for a Great Rear Camera). Cords: Front 11 feet; The rear is just over 21 inches from the camera to the connector, it has an extra red wire that is normally used to activate a backup reversing assist, so this camera can have that ability when not disabled in the menu - do not quote. just reviewing my product - i have Hoya 25mm and 28mm polarizing filters that can be fitted to the front, they certainly help reduce reflections from the windscreen - be sure to remove them at night otherwise the footage may appear dark - User Guide: One page, two-sided is minimal but may be enough for us to get the job done. Cons: - With only 158 degrees of frontal field of view, I think it will work better as a backup camera; 170 degrees in the front is much better for catching all the action, 140 degrees in the back would be the least acceptable FOV. If hit from behind, 140 should be wide enough to capture the event a bit more clearly in real time. Colors are bright. - Not quite sure on the model number, the release says KG390-2K-0624, the box says HS200 (probably HiSilicon V200) so who knows who the maker of this product is. Never heard of this company, JWKG, trademark of Aolbea, you can find a little bit about them online. Please note that this camera is button/menu driven, it is not touch screen. The only thing I won't include is my car's number plate - it's visible on the recorded footage - don't forget to remove the two plastic protective films from the front lens and rear display, otherwise we'll read about grainy images - price I think , overpriced claims could actually be raised a bit but for my intended use it would be acceptable - mainly due to the low selling price and higher resolution bought for use as a rear-facing dash cam, I don't like typical low resolution 1080p , night shots are often unusable due to color loss, image graininess, lack of detail, especially at night. There is already a very nice full size DVR in the front mirror. I had to purchase an additional $9 (12ft) 12V DC car adapter as the included power cords are typically 11-12ft long.
