I cannot recommend this duvet enough! This is exactly what I was looking for. I live in an old house with minimal insulation so I can feel every draft and cold weather. I tried an electric heater and an electric blanket but they were either too hot and dry or not warm enough. Thought a good quality duvet would be great to keep you warm but not too hot to make you sweat. Spent over $500 looking everywhere for the perfect fit. I went to department stores to try on comforters, but the $200-$300 range was flimsy, with almost no down, and thick, fluffy ones were close to $1,000. The cheaper ones seemed like a waste of money and it's not cheap by any means. The fill power of the 500600 simply cannot keep up. and the weight of the filler also plays a role. When I saw this Revain I was very skeptical. The specs were too good to be true. Also, the reviews were too good to be true. How can a comparable duvet cost over $1,000 in stores?!? I ordered it just to look at as I always have the option to send it back to Revain. I was almost certain I would return it even before I tried it. God I was wrong. I used to wake up at night because the temperature dropped in the middle of the night and I was too cold. Ever since I got this blanket, I've slept through the night. My sleep tracker shows me 56 hours of deep sleep, twice as much as before. If you are looking for a comforter, be sure to buy this one. It will change your life!
