Mine was in use - and the moment I put it on was absolutely... Only when I put a light on my head In this case, I have a head torch... regular torch... this hat looks awful, this particular one... maybe updated versions will solve the problem of the huge battery that sits on the left side of your head making you look like i had i put it on i don't know a serious problem or anything it's just horrible... the reason i didn't return it is because for some reason for some reason it's inexplicable to me, although this is the main thing when i try to return it , they want to return me like something ridiculous like three bucks not worth my time. I assume it has lights and they turn on and when it's dark and you have lights no one can see your hat, that's good news! I'm sorry for being so wild but with all the money I've spent on Revane it's been amazing to me I couldn't do what you want for some reason you don't want to call Revane
