I bought it on purpose when I forget to take the litter down the alley during the day and don't want to step on dog gifts. It's absolutely perfect, I tilt my head forward a bit and get a cone of light right where I need it. I ordered spare batteries based on other reviews that mentioned battery life. They're not very expensive and I didn't have time to talk about battery life, but it looks like swapping out will be quick and easy.

I've been using different colored powercaps for over 10 years since I first saw them at Lowes. When they get dirty from sweat and dirt and stink, I replace them.
