I really want to give this review 4 stars because the product works as advertised. This makes a very nice and easy to use background. The ability to adjust the length of the crossbar is a definite plus and offers more flexibility. The pack contains everything you need to customize the background. Setting up/assembling and dismantling is very easy. Problem: 1. The end of the crossbar was dented. However, this had no effect on the ability to screw in the Traverse2. A few small dents along the cross member - as needed3. Some of the crossbar's edges are a bit sharp, so be careful when handling4. Most important was the difficulty of connecting the two crossbars together. It's very tight. My wife couldn't put them on and I struggled a lot. You can add some lubricant and that should solve the problem.5. It is very difficult to separate two crossbeams. Not only is it tight, you struggle to press the locking button to release the two bars while also trying to negotiate the tightness of the bars. You must use your thumbnail to fully depress the locking button - the nail will bind.6. The screw you attach the top bar to is too short (see attached jpg). After scratching my head a bit trying to figure out why this was happening, I was able to see what was going on. There is a rod attached to the screw. You have to pull the screw very hard. This moves the entire bar up and the bolt is at the correct height and I can now screw in the cross member. (One of the other reviewers also noted the "short" bolt - maybe I got them back). When the crossbars are fully extended to their maximum width, the center will begin to sink down. Just make sure your background material is light and you'll be fine. This is not a complaint, just an observation that you need to be aware of. (Your other model, not adjustable, is much more robust). But still the product works but I am very disappointed with the quality of the product and the product they sent me. I will contact the seller/manufacturer.
