I have never used this product. I was amazed at how effectively it exfoliates your body. The product itself has a finer texture of the Velcro and is not thick at all. I showered in lukewarm or hot water for a few minutes, then soaked and squeezed excess water out of the glove. I didn't use soap to minimize glove slippage. I rubbed in circular motions, experimented with pressure, and rinsed the glove frequently. After I finished the cleanse, I finished the body gel. The photos look disgusting but this did what it was supposed to do. Scrapped everything that was in the garage all day from work with the car. I come from a traditional Filipino family and growing up we always had a stream stone or pumice stone in the bathroom to exfoliate. This glove is more efficient and effective.
