Okay, I used five finger exfoliating gloves and they are too rough for my skin. I've been looking for ages for something to remove dead skin because every time I apply after shower lotion, no matter what body scrub or washcloth I use, I always end up with rough skin. I bought these gloves on the recommendation of friends. I was very impressed with how well they worked. I have keratosis follicularis on the back of my hand and the mittens have drastically reduced visibility after one use. I took a picture of my tub after using it to show how much dead skin was gone! I would recommend soaking the skin for a long time before use to soften the skin.

These oven mitts work great! They are worth a try! You can't beat the price! And I followed the instructions. Light! I started by washing my hair first and letting the steam build up in the shower. The mit worked within the first few movements of my hand! I couldn't believe it! My skin (now out of the shower) feels so soft! I have also used it on my armpits (I have a skin problem where the skin appears darker). which is embarrassing. My armpits are smoother and seem lighter!

I've just finished using the glove and I'm not very impressed. It's really a sandpaper texture. I had very little dead skin that was noticeably flaking but not like these folks here who pretend it's a shocking amount. I'm not sure what's going on with them.
