This is the most amazing, complete and comprehensive book on rug knitting you will find anywhere. Gene Shepard, this is amazing! The book is full of close-ups showing all the basic techniques step by step with detailed explanations. A bit of history is also included, as well as different ways of hooking the same motif. There is a large section with instructions, color photos and diagrams of the most common rug designs such as flowers, fruits and landscapes. It also includes a full size rose stencil. This is a wonderful book, full of advice and beautiful drawings. If I had bought it sooner, I would have saved a lot of money, it's by far the best I've read. If you only want to buy one book,
