I'm ALL to these lights. My bedroom has virtually no windows, so I needed some artificial daylight during the day and soft, warm light at night. That's what I love about these lights that I've had a hard time finding anywhere else. And in between there's a wide range of options: if I don't want it to be all white, I can add some warmth without reaching 100% warmth. • The remote control is of course just great. Pro tip: If you accidentally press one of the "Party Mode" buttons, you can stop it by pressing one of the temperature buttons on the bottom left. Also, I've noticed that when I stand about 30 feet from the receiver and try to adjust the brightness, it adjusts the temperature instead. It doesn't bother me as I only have to take a few steps closer to get it working. • I love the versatility of these lights. You can dim the lights very low, but since they were on the ceiling of my bedroom, I found the bulbs *a little* too bright for my eyes when I was in bed. (If it was in my living room or somewhere else, it wouldn't be a problem at all.) I ended up buying some paper lanterns and making a lamp out of them. I've also thought about buying a bra and putting washers inside the bra. If you're arguing between pucks or LED strips: Pucks are great when you want more control over exactly where the light is. Thanks to the LED strips, the light comes from every inch of them. Puck lights allow you to be more selective about where the light comes from. I have both at home and prefer Puck lights for anything where parts of the cord are visible or where the bulbs themselves are visible. I only have LEDs in places where they are completely hidden as the light gets too harsh if the strip is sticking out at all.
