Plywood top, good price

To my great surprise, unlike most others in this price range, the top is made of laminated solid wood slats. The finish is very rough. Too rough for me. I sanded it lightly and oiled it like a cutting board. Looks good and should be leak proof. The top has a steel frame for rigidity. One day it could easily be attached to another top, but my oiled top is working fine so far. The construction is very light. Rigid and strong, but light. It's easy to move an unloaded table. However, note that the table itself weighs very little, so it is easy to push with a light load. like a cup of coffee and a tablet, which seems to be its purpose.
