I love it! Warmed me up and fried!

This heating pad was like a world to me when camping with the A-frame. I mean I just love it! I attached it to the mattress as per the instructions and it even comes with pins. So it doesn't wrinkle in any way, which they warn about (I think the heating element going through the pad doesn't twist and overlap part of itself causing too much heat in one spot). Personally, I've connected it directly to the 12v lithium battery in my trailer, but sometimes I use 120-12v power supplies (if I have shore power). And I can definitely say that it peaks at setting 3 or 4 when using a PSU that delivers 6A "total". I have to either connect it to a battery or use an AC adapter that will provide more current to get the full heat this thing can generate. On that note, I think it's really cool that this thing generates heat UNDER you, which then rises around/through you and is held in place by the blanket you put over it, as opposed to the heated blanket that stays on you or you try to wrap around yourself. Between this thing and the Milliard Tri Folding Mattress, which I bought to put on, I honestly think it was the best money I've spent in terms of accessories for my camper. And it's really saying something coming from an obviously picky buyer like me. This is another reason I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews on this item that have appeared since I first bought it about 11 months ago and normally I wouldn't even consider buying an item that was 18 % has 1-star ratings (typically, anything over 12% of 1-star ratings doesn't automatically make it into my book). So I'm not sure there are many losers out there and I'm just happy I caught a good one, or maybe people don't have enough power to get this thing to do its job properly. But I am very happy with this purchase. Take what it costs :-)
