I was surprised to see these 4 speaker headphones for less than $50 and was very skeptical about their sound quality, workmanship and comfort. I've lived in Nashville, Tennessee for 10 years, have been making music professionally for about 26 years and been in bands for almost 40 years. Most of my gigs have been with standard outdoor monitors and the like. . In the past, when I had to use the IEM in concert, I used good headphones that fit well. It worked well enough to get through the gig, but I didn't like the experience. I was recently hired to perform at a club that uses IEMs four times a week so I thought I'd buy a Shure 215. I saw a deal on a $99 Audio Technica single speaker set that got better reviews than the 215s. So I clung to them and liked them more than the old headphones. I realized right away that with a good mix it's a lot easier to sing about, easier NOT to sing about and also hear the nuances of the band (for better or for worse). low level and they fell out pretty easily, which is very annoying when you're playing an instrument and trying to sing a solo. The right set of memory foam ear tips could have solved my hair loss and comfort issues, but the clipping irritated me. Better but not acceptable. By the way, I found out that you can't get these things back because you put them in a hole. I asked and another player at the gig said I need a set of 4 IEM drivers. So I went home and looked for 4 IEM drivers. WOW $299 per set. and it was an inexpensive model. I prepared to put a serious coin aside for this purchase. I stayed up all night reading the reviews. The next day I asked my friend how much he paid and what kind he had. He said Quad Driver KZ ZS6. "They are Chinese." He said he paid $60, which was delivered to his door. He's owned it for a while now and loves it, only recommended buying an upgraded cable. So I did and got some memory foam ear tips too. These things are great! Now I can hear all the different frequencies at the same time with very little clipping (at the moment clipping can be an error of sound engineers). I play upright bass, electric bass, sing and play acoustic guitar at my gigs and these KZ ZS6 Quad Drivers make it very easy to hear what's going on. ONE BUT: They are a bit bulky and take several minutes. to get in shape. I would give them 5 stars except for the large design which looks and feels a bit chunky. I've only had them 1 week so far so can't comment on durability but $50 for a decent quad IEM. I would buy them again if lost or broken. Hope that helps.
