Review on ๐Ÿ•ถ๏ธ Hulislem Blade Sport Sunglasses with Polarized Lenses by Joel Wright

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Five stars minus one star

These glasses are the best I've used in ten years. I'm a triathlete, cyclist, ex-marathon runner and I ride three hours a day. When it comes to sunglasses, the most important thing to me is that they are optically perfect. I don't want to see any bulges or flares on my lenses, I can't tolerate distortions or eccentrically polished lenses. They should make me think I'm not looking at glasses at all. These goggles look perfect optically - excellent visibility on the road. Color rendering is excellent, glare is greatly reduced. Best of all, peripheral vision is just as perfect. They are lightweight and appear to be durable. The glasses are ideal for outdoor use - hiking, cycling, running, cutting grass, walking the dog - and so on. Perfect. BUT - they are NOT for driving. Polarized lenses do not work well when looking through other lenses. So if you look through a windshield, side window, or even a cell phone screen, you'll see colored bars. It's not a defect, just the result of polarized lenses. So why four instead of five stars? The frame is off center. The left and right earbuds aren't in the same plane, meaning one hand fits snugly against your ear while the other hovers slightly over the other ear. Overall I like the glasses - they are way better than the glasses I spent $100 on. or more. It's as good as the best ski goggles I've ever used which cost hundreds. Buy them and then repair the frame. Another reviewer said he tried "twisting" the frame but it doesn't work. You need to heat the nose piece with a heat gun (not a hair dryer) and then place the glasses on a flat table with the temples exposed. Then just press them against the table until the bridge has cooled and voila, you're done. Excellent glasses.
