It really is Fibrox Pro Knife, Model 5.2523.17 x-3

After all the bullshit I almost canceled this order but got the knife in the mail a few minutes ago. OK. I'm not a chef, but I think I'm good with the kitchen and knives. The German Wusthoff blades I have are 30 years old and still razor sharp because I'm not happy as a chef if they aren't sharp. The first thing I did when I took it out of the box and was about to cut something was to grab a SMALL golden Yukon potato and turn them into 50 thin paper slices that easily peeled off the Granton blade. This knife feels balanced and comfortable in my hand, has a good Fibrox Pro handle and is as sharp as it gets. I bought it at the Chef's Corner store in Colorado, so if you're ordering, pick it up there. It came in a professional box with all relevant model numbers and was branded with Fibrox Pro as the case designed for the box it was shipped in. There is no switcheroo here. I'll be leaving another update in a few months for something more detailed, but if you're considering this knife, professional or not, buy it from these folks in CO and it's the right model. This knife was $49 with change and only had 20 reviews BUT it was exactly the model I wanted and that's what I got. Happy felling!
