When using them to install LED lights, separate them to install between the base and the light fan body, separate the collar from the LED light and connect with these light clip brackets, install them and snap them in. Put it in the first light of the base, then carefully without breaking the led bulbs, reconnect it to the collar and most of them have two opposite slots (180 degrees to each other) , align them, and then flip them straight vertically so the bulbs are on the sides. This is easier to do for easier installation. I used Hikari Led Lights.
