There is probably a reason other connections cost around a hundred. This is not very strong and can easily twist. I would not recommend this for an animal over 30 pounds or so. . . My dog weighs less than 2.0 pounds and sustained a fairly serious injury from this device. This item does not include a lanyard, so you may want to upgrade the set to be able to tighten the leash adequately.
