Look, sub-$30 headphones don't achieve Bose-level sound quality BUT it might be the best option you have around to say the least. I've only had them for about a week so can't comment on how long they last in everyday use but will let you know if they fail this year. The sound quality isn't bad but to be honest I regret the purchase as for the same price I could buy my regular Sony MDR-EX15AP headphones (they are much more comfortable and easier to use).
