I had to force, improvise and use the big hammer!

Parts do NOT fit together properly. I broke the joint pretty well, I had to force hammer the bottom base into the bottom pivot. However, the two pieces should have simply slipped together. I'm a big strong guy. I also ordered a second strut thinking it could be fitted to a bolt on second seat but NO. Luckily I was able to use the second mount that came with the mount by finding the right size screw and attaching it to the correct seat anchorage.

Pros

Fully adjustable - allows the tray to be adjusted vertically (180°) and horizontally (360°)

Cons

Questionable purchase for the elderly
