Various advantages: The sound is really good; low, medium, and high frequencies all come through clearly and strongly. They keep charging well, and even after a year or two — I forgot when I bought it, but it's been closer to two years — I don't charge them every single day. Cons: As I run, they progressively slide out of my ears, so I had to remove the "horns" because, even without them, the headphones travel away from the ear and the tightness is lost, which results in a less than satisfactory listening experience. To put it another way, the "horns" don't really serve any purpose. In the event that they do not permit all of it to slip out, then they do not protect against the loss of pressure. I replaced the native ear pads with JBL replacements because JBL replacements are of a higher quality than the native ones.
