Works ONLY in manual mode. when you are 2 feet away and don't need bluetooth headphones

Although this product works in a very specific use case, the images on the page are misleading. I posted a link here to a photo on Amazon's own site, but Amazon has decided that linking to their site violates the Community Guidelines. So I have to repeat my entire review. So thank you for this amazon. There are 2 images on the product page that are misleading. The first is where they have an adapter that works in docking mode via a white cable that appears to be plugged into the device's charging port and uses 2 headphones to play. This image actually shows an external 3.5mm USB sound card plugged into the headphone jack on this adapter, but the adapter is either photoshopped into the image or rotated so the long part obscures where the cable actually connects is plugged in. misleading again. Secondly, the connector on this device appears to be bent 20 degrees when in fact it is bent 2 or 3 degrees and it looks like it might break in the process. As for the actual device, this is really only useful when in handheld or stand mode when you need to be within 2ft of it to see the screen and don't need wireless headphones. Other than that, it works well and its shape suits the console. However, I feel like they missed a great opportunity to make the longer part rotatable so it can be used in dock mode without the need for additional cables or external sound cards. I actually bought their own USB external sound card and it's smaller than this adapter so you can't even use their own products together to achieve your goal. You'll either need to buy an extension cord (which eliminates the need for an external sound card, as you can just use the headphone jack on the Switch at this point) or buy a different brand of USB external sound card. Does it work well in its very esoteric designed function? Yes. Is it worth buying? no There are other options for connecting headphones to Bluetooth adapters that plug directly from the console, eliminating the need for a Bluetooth adapter in a docking station or in handheld mode. Instead I would suggest buying one of these.
