Review on LG OLED55G1PUA 55-Inch Gallery Design 4K Smart OLED evo TV (2021) with Built-in Alexa - G1 Series by Steve Collins

I've been waiting for a 77 inch TV for a very long time. It took 4 orders and 3 deliveries before they finally got it right (Revain and terrible wholesale shipping companies). First delivery - wrong smaller model was delivered (mysterious how it happened with a barcode scan of a Revain product?); second delivery - damaged packaging, screen defect (many horizontal lines) and multiple broken edges; third delivery - wrong message from the delivery company that the packaging was damaged, the delivery company canceled the delivery but delivered anyway, fourth delivery - canceled due to the decision (after a long wait) to leave the 3rd tv and live with a small one Crack at the bottom. Upgrade the box and packaging (£110+) for large TVs to protect them from shipping abuse and mishandling by terrible wholesale mailers. The TV weighs almost 90 pounds and requires at least 2 people with GX TV stands (sold separately) to set it up. Picture quality is the best value for money, but not a huge improvement over previous top-of-the-line OLED models (upgraded from 2017 LG Signature 65-inch OLED). The picture quality of the LG Smart TV app (Netflix, AppleTV etc.) is not as good as the latest Apple TV and PS5 apps (with the latest HDMI cables). This is the best TV for gaming (better than Sony). The TV's native audio quality is acceptable, the current setup using the latest Sonos speakers via HDMI eARC is simple and works great. Unfortunately, the remote control is outdated with a middle scroll button. LG support (score 0) is just awful and a waste of time sending customers in cyclical and endless support calls with 800 numbers with absolutely no solution. Overall a good buy for a product (when it works) with lots of connections and lots of free streaming channels.
