Review on πŸͺ‘ Black Memory Foam Bar Stool Cushions - Round Covers with Non-Slip Backing and Elastic Band by Shinnwa (14-inch) by Joshua Huan

Not comfortable enough? Combine with an optional foam cushion for the perfect fit

Other reviews are right: This foam is too thin. At least under my weight (170 pounds, 6'1") the memory foam breaks down so completely that I might as well be sitting upright in my hard chair (I sit on the edge of the chair on my "sitting bones" for posture ) BUT -- eventually "customers also bought" listed FoamRush 2"x12"x12" foam padding, which I then bought and it's *perfect* -- regular foam (no memory Foam) so doesn't break down as much and shape your butt and I can sit all day. So swap out the foam, or if you want super-duper padding, leave *both* in - I keep the traditional foam on top and the memory foam on the bottom (memory foam breaks down less when it's down) - that there is enough space as long as the top of your chair is thin. (Also, you can save money on buying multiple chairs by buying 4" thick pads for almost the same price and cutting them in half with something I'm as simple as a chef's knife, which I did because it turns out you're in definitely won't fit a 4" thickness in this case!) And a final note: I also bought the equivalent Baibu chair cover B074V56DD6, which is made out of regular foam, not memory foam. However, its foam is the same height and seems almost as strong to collapse, so it wasn't really a huge improvement.(Also, the foam doesn't peel off like that.) Aesthetically and texture-wise, they're basically identical, except the Baibu has 4 "buttons" at the top, which I like seems weird with something synthetic so I like this Shinwa more because it has no buttons and the foam is removable so you have more customization options.

Pros
  • 100% Memory Foam Padding - The seat cushion's high-density memory foam padding provides softness and comfort in even the firmest of chairs.
