If you're just starting out in scuba diving, this probably isn't for you. If you want to build a cool snorkel system to stay underwater in your pool or pond, this is perfect! I reckon it will take a year or two. It's mostly cheap plastic and has a few interchangeable parts. However, it would probably be cheaper to just buy another instead of parts. I personally wouldn't use it if I dive deeper than 30 feet. The main thing is that it works and works well. It just doesn't look like it's built to last. I have used it over 5 times now and it has been consistent so far.
