600 m plus The Nest Thermostat makes it relatively easy to operate a humidifier. There was an extra wire in my thermostat wiring that wasn't used, which made this installation much easier. If you remove the outlet from its base and you have an extra wire, connect it to the star terminal "*" at the base of the outlet. The other end of this wire will connect to one of the wires coming from the humidifier and the other wire from the humidifier will connect to "C" on your oven. So you can run a two-wire cable into the oven and connect it to a humidifier. Inside your oven, find the other end of the extra cord connected to the * connector at the base of the outlet. Use a wire nut to connect one of the two new wires you just routed and connect the second wire to C on the oven control board. Now run the new 2-wire cable to the humidifier and connect the ends to the two wires on the humidifier. Remember that if you use copper piping for hot water supply, you can set the humidifier to use the stove fan when the stove heat is off. . Just set up Nest accordingly. There is another review that tells you how to do it.
