Great little bag! Very diverse! I mostly use it on the luggage rack of my softtail - just perfect for our clear glasses when we go out at night, my wife's small Harley handbag, sunscreen and other small items. My old HD bag had buckle straps with no quick release (a pain), so I knew I needed a quick release strap on this one. I used the fabric straps that come with the kit. They are alright. And I can see where a few zip ties would be nice on long trips or when I'm also attaching without a luggage rack. for a secure hold. . I don't always leave my bag on the bike. I try to keep the lines as clean as possible. But sometimes you want to take a few things with you. don't blame them for the straps. Ties are too cheap and easy to use/throw away. The leather on the bag is very thick and the quick release buckles are great.
