This stand is well made and finished, especially for the price. It works very well with Chromebooks. For reasons unknown, the base does not extend far past the rear of the support arm pivots. That means if you raise the support arms about 80 degrees (almost full height), the weight of the laptop will tip the stand backwards. If you want to use the full range of height adjustment you either have to press down on the base or do what I did by placing a weight on the base. A pair of foldable or extendable arms that could be extended beyond the base would have increased the stand's functionality. (It's fine as long as you don't raise the support arms more than 45 degrees.)
