Called the support team, by the way they were very nice and helpful. I was instructed to disassemble the side of the pump (impeller cover), loosen the impeller, clean the area, apply some grease and reassemble. Success! Apparently these smaller pumps tend to have a sticky interface between the impeller and the pump wall. A NOTICE. I found another reason why the pump is stuck and the fuse is blowing. You need to make sure you have a strong power supply (12V). If you try to run this on a low or low battery, you'll likely run into the problems I've had. The hoses still stink, they have become stiff after the first use. And I washed them after use. Hope this helps someone. Nothing good! I used it once to see how well it worked, I was impressed. after a week he really needed it and the only thing it does is blow the fuses. I have always used the Fill-Rite as a diesel transfer pump, I installed them in the side transfer tanks on our trucks so I assumed they would work similarly. Not as much. buy local, at least then you can take it and exchange it. Let's see how the guarantee helps.
