We bought a cheap bike for our daughter from W**-M*** and the cheap shifters broke after a month. While we could have made a return there, we thought the small price tag for the upgraded shifter was well worth it. Walk in, SRAM MRX 18 Speed (3 x 6) Grip Shift Set. They were packaged perfectly and although I have NO experience with bike repairs from watching a few YouTube videos, they installed and worked great. We ended up needing a small set of allen keys as well as some other small tools to properly install and adjust the product, but the total time for this newbie was around 30 minutes.
