Doesn't dry well on curly hair

I have a naturally curly pixie cut that I blow dry and straighten with two round brushes. I read the reviews and thought this hair dryer would be perfect for taming my frizzy hair and straightening my short hair. I can say that the dryer is cute, light and comfortable to hold. The tips hold up well too. HOWEVER, this hair dryer does not have the best drying performance. It took me twice as long to blow dry my hair and it didn't straighten my roots as well as my other blow dryer. I use two different sized round brushes to keep the roots well aerated. This hair dryer shouldn't get very hot as I have no problem with another hair dryer. I also noticed my hair started to frizz within 15 minutes of drying. It wasn't as curly as usual, but I had to blow dry my hair a few more times to straighten it (and use a mini straightener to style the roots). When I tried drying my daughter's hair (she has some wavy hair - straight rather than wavy) and after drying for 10 minutes it still wasn't completely dry. I wouldn't recommend this hair dryer if your hair is naturally curly and you're trying to dry it with a straight blow dryer, or if you have thicker hair that already needs time to dry.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Hard to say
