Review on Fruit Loom Waffle Thermal Underwear by James Dominick

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Thinner than I expected but my child finds them acceptable.

My child loves them but they seem thin to me. I was looking for a basic cold weather pajama set. We have other thermal jackets and they are thicker; They really seem to be meant to be a thin layer under other clothes and even then I don't know how much use they'll be given how thin they are and that they're made out of cotton. For truly insulating underwear, I personally prefer wool or Capylene 3, but not sure if there are kid's sizes for this material (probably, but very expensive). Cotton seems problematic for underwear so again I expected to use them as warmer pajamas. In fact, they seem more appropriate for spring or fall, or even a chilly summer night. If they had been in the store and I'd felt them first, I might have walked past them if they weren't under $5. Thanks for not having to cut an itchy tag out of my throat. You can't have a super scratch label (that doesn't even have care instructions on it) on the side that's probably still itchy even after you cut it out.
