Worked well in my 1.1 gallon tank!
I used them on the bottom of my cock tank. 1 sachet completely filled the bottom of my 1.1 tank! So I would consider 1 bag per gallon. I wasn't sure if they contained toxic materials from the factory, so I rinsed them off with Dawn dish soap before putting them in the aquarium. They curl up slightly when you move items there, but they sink back to the bottom. Because they are larger parts, they are easy to clean when cleaning the tank. Recommendation for aquariums!
