BuyMax saw my review and offered to send me another air pump so I accepted their kind offer to give them a chance to get it right and if it worked right, bid I'm about to update my review. The replacement air pump is 100% better and works great. I can still feel a slight air leak around the switch and hose connection, but it doesn't even compare to the first pump I had to re-tap to actually blow air out of the hose. This replacement blows tons of air out of the hose and still runs as quietly as a hair dryer. Many thanks to BuyMax for replacing the pump. More air comes out through the seam of the body than blows through the hose. I had to blow up two huge chairs/beds yesterday and it was slow due to air leaks. So bring me the tape! I taped the entire seam of the body and around the end of the hose that connects to the blower body. It made a big difference and he worked much, much faster. I give it two stars because it's a lot quieter than my tire inflator. It's as loud as a big hair dryer. And once the exhaust was stopped, it worked very well and inexpensively. In this case, you really do get what you pay for. But honestly? I don't need to glue a brand new product to make it work as it should.
