Bought 4 months ago as a present for my daughter's birthday. Good style and design. Some of my old records played, some didn't. I thought the records were old and scratched. Let's jump ahead to December. My daughter got some new records for Christmas and two of them played with problems. Again, these are BRAND NEW entries. I tried the same records on my vintage player and they played great. My guess is that the included stylus (stylus) is too coarse to play vinyl properly. I have tried to contact Victrola both by email and by phone but have not received a reply. Two stars is generous for this player and this company. I give it 0 stars for customer service, 0 for ease of play, and 5 stars for the tie-dye finish.
