These pants fit incredibly well! We bought 6 Slim for my very skinny 7 year old. He could wear a 4T on his waist and sit down. but the pants are so tight because he is so tall and thin. They were PERFECT. The quality is exceptional. I can say it will take a while. The length 6 Slim was perfect for my 48 inch son. There is a built in adjustable tie at the waist so we could pull it a little tighter and it didn't look ragged or clunky. The hips and legs are straight and fitted so he doesn't bathe in excess material. Serious. We bought 4 pairs to use as school uniform pants. Then I bought 2 more in the next size up in case I can't find them next year. Ideal!
