Review on Adjustable Temperature πŸ”§ Desoldering Tool for Electronics Soldering by Roy Boone

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Trash Trash Trash Trash

The only parts of this set that worked properly were the tweezers and the carrying case. I understand it's only $12.99, but that's just not acceptable. The tips are impossible to keep clean, the sponge holder is plastic and incredibly small for use with a soldering iron. The iron itself never matched the temperature settings, let alone exactly. One day the hottest temp was barely hot enough to melt the solder, and the next day it fried everything it touched within a second of contact. Then he started making a strange ringing noise. No idea. A little creepy. There is no type. The rosin just ruined everything. The solder was rubbish. The wire stripper didn't strip the wire while the desoldering pump did. The pump had to be disassembled after each use to remove the solder from the chamber. And half the time it still won't work. I've already tried to post this review twice but Amazon never allows it for some reason. I ended up returning that trash parade and getting more, and so should you. Avoid this scam! I have no idea how the heck it has such excellent reviews. It seems seriously wobbly.
