Review on HeatnBond Fusible Interfacing Fleece Inches by Karla Richter

I am very disappointed with this fusible link. It looks as if someone took a pair of scissors and cut off a large width of wool with their eyes closed. In some places it is 19 or even 18 inches wide and very serrated on both edges. It was also not a continuous length, but was cut into pieces a meter or two long and rolled up. The fleece has a different adhesive coating than the Heat n Bond fleece I usually buy so it seems to fuse quickly but it has an unpleasant chemical odor which I've never experienced with other fleeces I've bought. It's also not a permanent connection. After fusing, I noticed I had a crooked piece, and I could peel it off and fuse it again. This is great if you plan on attaching the batting by sewing it to the fabric. but if you don't do this, it will start to pull away from the fabric as you put the pattern together. This makes it difficult, for example, to turn the bag inside out. It's also not as thick and fluffy as the melt-away I bought at the craft store. Overall, I have a hard time believing this is actually the Heat n Bond brand I have purchased in the past. It has way too many things that are different from any well known Heat n Bond brands I have bought before. I don't know if it's the same as everyone else or if I'm the only one stuck with a cheap fake, but I won't risk buying it again. This makes it difficult, for example, to turn the bag inside out.
