I compared the 32-inch Samsung and the 27-inch HP; Samsung was either equal or superior to them in all technical aspects. The price was the same, so the choice was easy. I found the performance excellent and the picture quality close to our Samsung home theater system. The only issue was minor - there was only one HDMI-to-HDMI port; I needed a new plug before I could install the monitor.
