Frozen smoothies or soft drinks

My family uses these glasses a lot. My kids love to pour juice in it in the morning before school and eat porridge in the afternoon when they get home. I like to add something special to my evening cocktail on a warm night. The most important thing about these massagers is that you need to plan to use them. You have to anticipate the hours before you want to drink and then remember to leave it in the freezer. A booklet is included listing several frozen smoothie recipes. I didn't do any of this on purpose; I only download from what is at hand. When my kids use it for juice, they fill it up to the 12 ounce fill line in the glass. The lid is twisted and sent to the freezer. I'm sure freezing temperatures vary widely, but we've found around six and a half hours is plenty of time to freeze the contents. Eight hours is too much. After the jar is removed from the freezer, the bottom of the jar can be squeezed to turn the frozen contents into a mush. Poke from above also works. Once, when it was heavily frozen, I poked it with a fork and it fell apart nicely. Maybe it's the juice I'm drinking, but drinking through a straw isn't very good. There is a hole in the lid for that. However, with my consistency, slushies are easiest to drink from the edge. The glasses can get cold after a while. I prefer to drink from one if I can do it between sips. Jars, straws, and lids are easy to hand wash, and I haven't gotten any stains, even from dark berry juices.

Pros
  • Glasses and water glasses
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others
