Disappointing Quality in Industrial Holder

This indexable insert holder was a complete waste of money. The quality was subpar and not up to the standards of other products in the Industrial and Scientific field. The only positive aspect was the ease of installation. However, the cons far outweighed this minor benefit as the holder did not secure the inserts properly, resulting in poor precision and unacceptable levels of play. I do not recommend this product.

Pros
  • Stable and rigid, ensuring precision in turning operations.
Cons
  • May cause vibrations due to its heavyweight, resulting in poor surface finish.

Blunt, very fast

Tool with decent shank but insert is a piece of scrap used on a half inch round aluminum rod, two pass, very light cuts and already blunt, main bet size is very small, and insert cost is too high which is not a good buy for this amount.

Pros
  • Reach 3/16".
Cons
  • I'll add later

Great lathe!

This is a great radius turning tool for lathes. I use it on my 7x10 mini lathe and it cuts great! won't come out one day. I bet if you take it easy it will Insert likely to last a long time On aluminum I run it at about 1000rpm maybe a bit faster like a smooth surface even with a big DOC ( for a mini lathe) I can definitely use this tool and the inserts recommend!

Pros
  • 3/16" offset.
Cons
  • Long Stock
