First the cost, with the coupon it was just over a hundred dollars. I live in the country and after a while an ounce or two of electricity comes out of a storm. A few months ago I got a new big screen and recently a thunderstorm cut the power for an hour and a half. My point is that the inverter I am using is not a pure sine wave so there is a chance it will damage my new TV. This inverter is a pure sine wave and very safe to run a couple of lamps and my TV. It doesn't take any time to set up, I use extension cords from my garage for lights and TVs. Typically, the shutdown takes no more than an hour or two. Much better than dealing with a gas generator. Keep in mind that it can't do the work of a generator, but it can easily keep you out of the dark with tools to monitor conditions around you. You can't beat him and this work is great.
