Ideal for OEM. It was used as a replacement for the front knock sensor wire on a 2008 Buick LaCrosse where an unknown (hated) person cut the wire at the end of the connector and also at the end where it connects to the rather thick wiring harness from the ECM . As you can see from the picture the color of the cable is white while the cable/plug it replaced was light blue. This wire/connector comes with a butt connector to facilitate the correct mating of the new connector to the old wire. Add your own piece of shrink wrap slightly longer than the butt connector and you have a good connection to send that signal back to the ECM.
