Honestly not "big". I have a pair of Claire's hair ties that are the same size. Also, target gave me a giant scrunchie that looks like the one in the product photos on the person's wrist, so it's actually giant. However, the material is very soft and otherwise a great scrunchie. Just NOT JUMBO!
