I ordered this remote to replace a 6 year old original remote that had a broken battery holder. Unfortunately the new remote seems cheap - I suspect the battery holder or compartment is too large as the device is intermittent at best. I ended up using the battery holder in the original remote, which works well, except for the fact that the rest of the remote has a "sun-baked" quality. I'm stuck with a $35 battery. At least I now have a working Bluetooth car kit. If you get it, I suggest testing it right away to see if it's reliable or not.
