Excellent replacement for the original equipment. Wish the handlebar strap was also available as a replacement but couldn't find it on AMAZON.

Using bluetooth with my radio speakers in my truck for hands free calls. The system does that well. The only problem with previous remote controls is that their lifespan is short (once every 2-3 years). I wish for more reliability, longevity.

I ordered this remote to replace a 6 year old original remote that had a broken battery holder. Unfortunately the new remote seems cheap - I suspect the battery holder or compartment is too large as the device is intermittent at best. I ended up using the battery holder in the original remote, which works well, except for the fact that the rest of the remote has a "sun-baked" quality. I'm stuck with a $35 battery. At least I now have a working Bluetooth car kit. If you get it, I suggest testing

Bought to replace a worn original. As others have said, the new remote feels a lot better than the original. This fits every iPhone version I've ever had but for some reason it was NOT paired with my Samsung Galaxy 4 perfectly when I switched to the Galaxy Note 5. Find out. All in all, this is a perfect replacement for the original remote control. The remote control works in conjunction with a small receiver on the dashboard. This is indeed a 5 star product but I had to deduct a star as the battery was not included. The description in no way said if it would come with a battery or not (something they might need to update) but for a product like this that uses a dedicated battery I would expect it to come with it.
