I cook food for my two dogs, one of which weighs 150 pounds. That's a lot of dog food. I bought this in the hope that it would be on hand in case I couldn't get to the store to cook a load of food. My dogs didn't like it. That made a huge mess. We tried several consistencies and it was like mush. Whatever you do, don't leave it in the dog bowl until the next day because soaking and scrubbing is no joke. It took a little effort. I'm disappointed. Considering the price and the potential "simplicity factor" I was hoping they would like it. He's back in the shop making food from scratch. It smelled nice, like soup. I was happy with the ingredients but not with the super thin texture. We'll keep it for an emergency, but it's not the backup I had planned! If your dog is used to dry food, he'll probably be crazy about raw meat. My dogs found it difficult to eat and were unappetizing compared to the homemade food they were used to. Worst of all my Old English Sheepdog had it all on his face. 😳
