Laptop tray has two mounting points where you can attach a VESA mount; one on the bottom of the tray and one on the back (at a slight angle). I attached mine to the back of the tray and am not sure what the reason for choosing one over the other would be. Perhaps the bottom attachment point is for attaching to a vertical surface, such as a desk. B. a wall, while the rear attachment point for a horizontal surface such. B. a table is determined. Each mounting point has two holes for a 100x100 VESA mount and two holes for a 75x75 VESA mount. If your mounting bracket has 100mm and 75mm holes like most I've seen, you should be able to attach the tray with four screws. Otherwise, you can only attach it with two screws, which probably won't be a problem since most laptops are much lighter than the monitors/TVs that the brackets and mounts are designed for. The bottom of the tray, designed to prevent the laptop from slipping, is 7/8 inch (0.825 inch) high. The non-slip brackets on the laptop side can be moved along the longest air vent, allowing you to place it in a location that won't block ports on your laptop. I use the tablet with my Alienware 15m laptop and it works very well with it. Maybe the level could be a bit higher, but that's not so important. The side brackets also prevent the laptop from sliding off the bottom.
