Review on Polar H10 Bluetooth Heart Rate Monitor, Compatible with iPhone & Android - Black Chest Strap HRM by Haruto Asahi ᠌

Lame product and terrible quality.

Bought for training on the Oxygen T12 treadmill. Connected while I stand shows the pulse. The pulse simultaneously displayed on the phone and on the track. I start to run, the pulse on the phone grows, and on the track it shows almost half as much and periodically disappears. I tried it on another track, Harizen Adventure 5. Same thing. In the middle of the running belt, the signal disappears and the pulse is low. I took it to the SC, we'll see what they do. Stably shows the pulse only half a meter from the track console. So far disappointed. Picked up from the service center. In the act, the repairman wrote that he works up to 1 meter, on another piece of paper it is indicated that he works at 70 cm. He asked to show how he works at a distance of 1 meter, he did not earn money from the repairman. But since this is the only SC in Hong Kong, the repairman took the position that everything works and if I don’t like something, I can conduct examinations myself and complain wherever I want. In general, if you plan to buy it for a bunch of gymlink simulators, then you don’t need to do this. The transmitter is so weak that it will only work at a very close distance from the receiver in the simulator (70 centimeters). I don't know what they were thinking as a gift, developing such a defect for simulators with which it does not work. Adding a review: If the sensor is hung on the side, then in 30 minutes of running it falls off the track only 2-4 times. It looks like either the antennas in the sensor are placed crookedly, or those that radiate forward do not work, because if you hang it straight forward, then the readings are transmitted only from a very close distance. On average, when running for 30 minutes, it falls off the bluetooth a couple of times upon contact with the phone. Boiling is expressed by a sharp subsidence of the pulse by one and a half to two times. I wrote on the off site, where it is indicated that they will always answer, they did not answer. As a result, I can say that for running on a treadmill with pulse-dependent programs, you should not take the sensor because of its poor connection. Because of the poor service center in Hong Kong, I would not consider buying Polar at all.

Pros
  • Comfortable. Sits well.
Cons
  • Loses connection at a distance of 80 cm, with a declared distance of 1 meter does not work with treadmills.
