Only works without the case on

The ring holder itself holds up really well but it doesn't go through the phone case which allows me to use the wireless charger! My husband modified my case as someone else did in the reviews and it works! I would imagine that if I had a real magnetic safe with a magnetic field inside it would hold up great!
