Review on Black SDI to HDMI Converter with Auto Format Detection, Audio De-Embedder, and SDI Loopout by Eric Weber

Although properly connected with pre-tested cables, the converter did not output to either the HDMI OUR or SDI OUT connectors. The converter has very general setup instructions at best (because it's not that hard to set up), but no information about a red light (which I assume indicates power) and a flashing green, which was never explained. Customer care is an important issue. In this case, the seller asked me to contact him for customer service before authorizing a return. It consisted of a series of emails from the seller asking for a photo of the converter connections and a few technical questions about the input signal e.g. B. to the frequency, bat. I was able to answer most but not all of their technical questions (e.g. SDI input frequency). I then didn't hear from the seller for two days, after which Revain customer service stepped in and allowed the return and refund. Because this product didn't work at all and the seller made it unnecessarily difficult to return this relatively inexpensive item, I cannot give this converter more than the fewest stars.
